ZHONG Juncheng
- Professor in Composition at the Guangxi Arts University Conservatory of Music
Zhong Juncheng, Professor of Composition, conservatory of music at Guangxi Arts University, Teaching Master, Director of the Chinese Association for Music Composition and Composition Theory, Art director of China-ASEAN Music Week. He learned the theory of composition and composition technology from Professor Xu Yuechu in 1981 and received the bachelor's degree. He studied the theory of composition and composition technology from Professor Tong Zhongliang at the composition department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 1985 and obtained the master's degree.
The creation is a total of more than 90 works ,including the opera "DaqinLing Canal", " Dahanhai Road", "Su Jian of Yongzhou in the Great Song Dynasty", the first symphony " The land of Luoyue", the second symphony and the third symphony, the fourth symphony "New Life", the fifth symphony "The Destiny of China", the sixth symphony "Ai Ge Ai Wa" ,the seventh Symphony "Dust I", the eighth symphony "Dust III", the ninth symphony "War and Peace", the tenth,eleventh, twelfth Symphony and symphonic poetry, concertos, choruses, chamber music and other works . Many works won the national and provincial creative awards. A number of special concerts of new individual symphonies were held. Many works are performed by national symphony orchestras and chamber orchestras from France, Austria, the United States, Russia, Poland, Australia and ASEAN around the world. As the founder and artistic director, he has successfully hosted the 9th China-ASEAN Music Week. The China-ASEAN Music Week in 2018 won the right to host the new Music festival (ISCM)of
2021.
